According to MacRumors, this update also included changing ‘Apple ID’ to ‘Apple Account’. After this, iPhone users were notified to agree to the terms and conditions to continue using iCloud. A few of those who accepted the conditions suddenly found the deletion of files from the Notes App. They immediately took this to social media and then Apple provided the solution to fix this bug.

1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap Apple Account settings.
3. Scroll down to find iCloud.
4. The next screen will appear, tap on Notes.
5. Toggle “Sync this phone” to on. It will restore all the lost data on the Notes app.
If the data is still missing, restart your iPhone or iPad and check the settings again.
